THREE TUNS CHRISTCHURCH
This wedding at The Three Tuns Christchurch was an absolute joy. It was a gorgeous warm sunny September day in the New forest. We had everything including some sparklers after the first dance. The amount of times I was trying to keep my laughter in check is staggering. They were a great crowd and open to some of my mad ideas including jumping on the spot and a bit of dancing
THE WEDDING DAY
It all started at a private house where they all got ready. It was a great find as it was less than a mile from the venue. I could see straight away that they were up for a good laugh and by the time I left the house for the venue I was smiling from ear to ear.
The Three Tuns is situated on the edge of the New Forest Country Park. It is a pleasant three mile drive from Christchurch & Burley. It is an award-winning traditional 17th century inn with huge acclaim for its excellent AA and Egon Ronay recognised food & drink. I have been lucky to photograph here a couple of times over the years and always find the staff and the food absolutely amazing. The garden area of the pub has a barn with a large marque which is great for all size functions. The back of the garden leads on to some fields which is great as a backdrop especially later in the afternoon with some lovely golden light.
